My random DIY cupcake bite tower

I was at Ross, just perusing when I saw it.

I'm  not sure what it's actual kitchen purpose is, but I immediately saw it as a display stand for my cupcake bites. So of course I bought it.

I then headed straight to Home Depot- to find some sort of hard surface for the 'shelves.' I foolishly had plastic or plywood in mind.. but luckily walked right into the tile section instead.

Oh I should mention I walked into home Depot holding my random kitchen gadget, and proceeded to spend far too much time down the tile aisle. I ended up with those tiles, which I'm pretty sure were made solely for my project since they fit perfectly.
See? Like a glove.

At the time all I had was that one lonely lil cupcake bite. But I did have my awesome bday hat too. How cute is that?!

Very cute. :)

So naturally, I had to make some cupcake bites to display.
Besides, it was my friend Eric's birthday so there were lots of people to eat them after they served their display purpose. :)

These were funfetti ones btw. The good funfetti mind you- and by good funfetti I mean rainbow chip. I had to go to 2 different stores to find it. I think it was worth it though.
I think it will also be worth it when I get to use this for more than a photo opp for my blog. ;)
