New England trip

So Over Labor Day I took a lil trip to visit my friend Jill in  Maine and Boston.
Here are some of  the highlights of my trip in pictures.
Probably too many pictures for one post, but that's how I roll :)
Yeah. So this is what welcomed me to Boston.
Luckily Earl was kind and only brought perfect puddles for me to jump in.

Here we're waiting for the 'T' subway system to take us to our Duck Tour meeting spot

Yup. You guessed it. This is the Duck Tour. A touristy-tour of Boston.
I quacked at people who were staring at us. :)

Jill and I on the Duck Tour. Part of the tour is on land, part on water!

Chillin' on the tortoise. The Boston Marathon ends here.

I was obsessed with getting these,
but messed them up by not reading the directions haha

Lunch at the Cheers bar :)

No clue what this is about but it was there, screaming for me to take a pic with it.
Our Cheers waiter also had no idea what it was about...
Ok Google told me there is a hidden mac n cheese amazing restaurant in there... obviously we didn't eat there.

HayMarket Square Open Air Market-
as seen from inside our new favorite bar

Holocaust Memorial

Dinner at the  Hardrock. Best customer service ever.
It did help that our waiter was pretty, and made an amazing
raspberry mojito. ;)

So excited I got to wear my rainboots!
It was so much fun going out of my way to jump in puddles.
 Just because I could. :)

I wanted to check out the cemeteries the morning before we headed to Maine.
Spent some time trying to find all the famous people here...

Yay! Finally got a pic of a welcome to sign!
Taking out the window while the car is moving pics is not as easy as I thought!
We had no desire to stop either :)

This lil farmhouse was so cute. It allowed me to have some of Jill's famous bruschetta too.
And had I been thinking when I repacked my pack at 3am, I would've enjoyed my raspberry honey and jelly-
hey did you know I really like raspberries?! :) I hope the TSA employees enjoyed it at least.
They do enjoy it if it's unopened right? I would.

I wanted to eat some fresh seafood since I was in Maine. Jill's family hates seafood- go figure:)
But her grandma loves her some lobster, so Gram bought us a 1.5 and a 2 pounder!

Jill's soon-to-be brothe rin law, Matt hyptnotized our lobsters!
Seriously. I had never heard of this.. its crazy- check it out-">Sleepy lobster :)

Gram and I enjoyed our lobster-
even if we were banished to a table all by ourselves :)

Marshall Pointe Lighthouse in Maine.
This is the one that Forrest Gump ran to!

Their beautiful 'Maine house.'

Fun shot from my new fav winery.

Still at the Cellardoor.
I bought Serendipity and Sweetheart.
You choose 6 different wines to taste, and they give you oyster crackers. :)
It's probably a good thing that they don't ship to AZ.

We went seaglass hunting on their property before heading back to Boston

Pretty sky on the drive back...

The end. :)

Looks like a fabulous trip! (They have that noodle thing in San Fran too and I have no idea what it is either.)
